Women & Doctors. Is it true that if a woman is having menstrual discomforts?
that gets worse and worse every month, by having a tubal ligation will help ease those problems?
I'm 34 and we have 2 children, not interested in having anymore, so I'm considering this if this is in fact true.
Update: My menstrual cycles were never all that bad, but since I had our last one 8 years ago, it's becoming horrible and only getting worse every month. I'm to the point now where I feel achy and almost like I have a bad flu with it, and the week before it starts is the worse, all I want to do is sleep. I cannot take it anymore and it seems like it's triggering my migraine syndrome as well.
Best Answer: it all depends, really. I had a tubal last year and my cramps did improve untill recently but I am blaming that on possible ovarian cyst. My periods are also shorter. Only 4 days. Many people think your period stops after having a tubal which is completely untrue. I don't regret my tubal
