Period during finals!? (women/doctors)?

Period during finals!? (women/doctors)?

It is likely that I will have my period during my finals. I get awful and unbearable cramps during my period. I take a pill to reduce the pain and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. During my 3 hour long finals, no one is allowed to leave the room, including going to the bathroom. If you absolutely have to leave the room, you fail that class and have to go to summer school. I have a 96 average and I can't spend a month in summer school, I need to be able to focus and take the exam. Someone help! Tips on what to do in the classroom, how to relieve pain naturally, anything, please!!
Well firstly there's pills that you can take especially for menstrual symptoms (Mydol, for example). However, if these don't work, i've heard that heat works well on the most painful cramps. Most of the girls i know use hot water bottles, but seeing as you'll be in an exam room, i would suggest a hot patch that is meant for muscle pain. Instead of wrapping it around your back, the way it's meant to be used, wrap it around your abdomen, and it should last the whole 3 hours. I know it may be uncomfortable given that it's summer, but it does sound like a pretty good solution!
